donnie darko: director's cut

i finally watched the director's cut of donnie darko, even though i had downloaded a copy months before it came out... guess i just had to see it on a dvd.

it's better in the director's cut, especially if you've ever had one of those deep discussions about the movie. a few more of the peculiarities are explained. plus the soundtrack is slightly different, which is odd.
